Tim
Kelchner (1980-84) 119-145 lbs.
Tim Kelchner, a 1984 graduate of Northwestern Lehigh, had quite an
impressive career as a Tiger grappler.
He was a four year varsity starter; he won the Jim Thorpe
Christmas Tournament, twice; he was a two time Centennial League
champion, a two time District XI runner-up, and a two time Regional
runner-up. In his senior
year, Tim went all the way to State Semi-finals before having to settle
for a sixth place medal, respectively.
A proficient pinner, Tim had a combined record of 53-1-1 over his
junior and senior years. During
his senior year on the way to the State Tournament, Time registered 23
falls.
