Scott Derr (1984-88)

A four-year varsity wrestler, Scott became the first Northwestern wrestler to win more than 100 matches in a career.  His overall record at NWLHS was 125-12-3.  In each of his four years, Scott won the Jim Thorpe Christmas Tournament, the Centennial League Champion, and the District XI Championship.  In 1985, as a freshman, Scott placed third in the Southeast Regional’s.  In each of the next three years, he not only won the Southeast Regional Championship, but also advanced to place fourth and third respectively in the PIAA Class AA Championships.
