Matthew
Masters (1986-90)
Matt
had a career record of 82-10-2 and was 28-5-1 his senior year.
He was a four-time Jim Thorpe Christmas Tournament champion, a
two time District runner-up, and a 1990 Southeast Regional champion.
In 1990, Matt took a PIAA State Silver Medal and he was the first
Northwestern wrestler to represent our school in the AA vs. AAA
Challenge of Champions at Penn State.
He was also
Northwestern's
Outstanding Senior Wrestler.
Matt was mentioned in the April 1990 issue of Sports Illustrated.
