Howard
Hunsicker (1993)
Howard
has, without a doubt, witnessed more Northwestern Lehigh High School
athletic events than anyone.
Since the school opened in 1956, he has been the Tigers' most
loyal fan.
As a bus driver for seventeen years, Howard drove countless
athletic teams to competitions in all sports.
Even when Howard was not driving the team, you could spot him at
almost every wrestling match and basketball game.
Wrestling has been one of Howard's favorite sports.
He rarely missed any dual meets or District or Regional
Tournaments if Northwestern wrestlers were participating.
Howard also made many trips to Penn State and Hershey to support
Northwestern wrestlers who were wrestling in the state tournament.
Howard says his biggest thrill when following Tiger wrestlers to
states was in 1980 when consecutive state championship.
