R. Smith
Mr. Smith served as
high school principal for seventeen years.
It was under his leadership and support for athletics that not
only the wrestling program, but also all sports programs at Northwestern
flourished. Everyone ever
associated with Northwestern wrestling during Mr. Smith's tenure will
remember and respect him as a true friend of wrestling.
Whether it was at the matches cheering the boys on, or lending
moral support to the coaches, Mr. Smith was always there.
