Bryan
Billig (1973-77) 98-105-112-119-126 lbs.
Bryan
was a District champ and Regional champ in 1976-77. He wrestled three years on varsity and maintained a winning
record every year. As a
senior, Bryan was undefeated. Ha
attended Wilkes University (formerly Wilkes College), where he wrestled
as a freshman (20-10) and was nominated to the Freshman All-American
team. He placed fourth in the EIWA Tournament as a freshman and he
placed second as a sophomore (1978-79).
He was 24-5-1 that year with impressive wins over Ken Mollary
(National Champ), Pete Schuyler (Lehigh), Doug Heimbach (Navy), and Mark
Noto (North Carolina State).
