1998-1999

1998-99 was Don Billig’s first year with the Tigers finishing 6 and 9.  At the season opening Bloomsburg Tournament the team finished 6^th over all with 7 place finishers, Zach Wehr, Brad Christ and Troy Christman placed 3^rd, Mike Stepan and Dave Frey placed 4^th, Scott Anders and Justin Romanot placing 5^th.  In the Emmaus Tournament the team finished a respectable 3^rd place, with all 10 wrestlers who entered placing in the top 6 of their respective weight classes, including 1^st place finisher, Zach Wehr.  Brad Christ and Dave Frey placed 2nd, Mike Stephan and Troy Christman finished 3^rd.

             In the 1998 Christmas Tournament, Co-Captain/Senior Troy Christman (24-10) placed 5^th and Juniors Zach Wehr (24-8) and Brad Christ (22-10) placed 6^th.

             At the Districts, Sophomore, Austin Sukanick (16-14) placed 6^th, Zach Wehr (5^th) and Co-Captain/Senior and the teams Most Outstanding Wrestler, Dave Frey (23-10) finished 3^rd and qualified for the Regional Tournament, where he went 1 and 2.
