1975-1976
1975-76 the season ended with
the third consecutive winning season.
Wrestling had come a long way at Northwestern. Remember practices started in a boiler room.
From there they moved to a classroom and were then held in the
cafeteria. Practices are
now held in a beautiful wrestling room facility that included very nice
equipment. Also matches
took place in the new gym which was one of the finest facilities in the
area. Mr. John Hough now
assisted Coach Hawk. Dan
Blose became a District XI champ, A Regional runner-up, and he competed
in the State Tournament. Chris
Wentz won hi third District XI and Regional titles and was State
runner-up in the 105 pound class.
