NWL high school wrestling team, coaching staff, and Coach Rex
will act as camp counselors. They will closely monitor
each athlete by focusing on details that make the difference in
winning tough matches.
Ben
Marich:
Currently
wrestling at Lehigh University and had a very successful year as
a freshman,
PIAA
State qualifier, career record of 115-32.
Evan
Yenolevich:
2x
high school All-American, 2x PIAA State Runner-Up, 3x District
XI and 2x Regional Champion, on track to set a school and
District XI career win record.
Steve Klass:
As
a coach: Coached 4 PIAA State Championship Teams 10 District
Titles, 8 League Titles and 4 Regional Titles, and coached 4
PIAA State Champions. As a wrestler: PIAA and High School
Senior National Runner-Up, 2x PA State Place Winner, was a 4
year starter at Division I Bucknell University (Coached at
Wilson and is currently coaching at Paramus.)
Todd Herzog:
State
Coach of the Year, career-coaching record of 205-44, coached 6
state champions and a state championship team is 2005.
Ben Clymer:
2008
PIAA State Champion, PIAA State OW, 2x District XI and Regional
Champion, 08' Morning Call Wrestler of the Year, is continuing
his wrestling career at DI Hofstra University
Scott Clymer:
2006
PIAA State Champion, 3x PIAA State Place winner, 3x District XI
Champion, 2x Regional Champion, most career wins in NWL history,
currently wrestling at Division I Liberty University
Dave Crowell:
Five
times named Pennsylvania State Coach of the Year (1981, 1983,
2001, 2002, 2007); NWCA National Coach of the Year in
2007; NWCA State Coach of the Year in 2007; NHSCA National
Coach of the Year in 2001; Nine times named District Coach
of the year; Inducted into PA Wrestling Coaches
Association State Hall of Fame in 2006; District XI
Wrestling Hall of Fame; Teams have won five District XI
Wrestling Sportsmanship Awards (voted by referees); Team
Championships: Five individual state tournament
championships (1981, 1983, 2002, 2003, 2007); Three dual
meet state championships (2001, 2002, 2007); Eleven
district tournament titles; Six district dual meet titles;
Twelve conference/league titles.
Individual Championships: 14 state champions;
57 state place winners; 42 regional champions;
58 district champions
State Milestones Set: Currently the only
wrestling coach in Pennsylvania to: Coach at least one
state champion at three different school; Win at least one
state individual tournament at three different schools; Win
at least one state team tournament at two different schools;
Be voted state coach of the year five different times;
Be voted state Coach of the Year while coaching at three
different schools; Be voted state Coach of the Year in both the
AAA and AA divisions.
