Booster Club

The
mission of the Northwestern Lehigh Wrestling Booster Club is to work
cooperatively with the Northwestern Lehigh School District to support
the Junior and Senior High School Wrestling Teams.
The Booster Club feels strongly that parent and community
involvement can be a key to the success of the individual student and
athlete. We encourage
parent and community participation.

The
primary role of support/booster organizations in the Northwestern Lehigh
School district is to provide support for the advisor(s)/coach(es)/principal(s)
as deemed appropriate by them in pursuit of their goals for the program
under the auspices of the district-wide mission, goals, and policies.

Thanks
to all who participated!!
In support of the wrestling teams the
booster club funds many of their needs. The following is a list of items
the club will be funding this year:
| Team T-shirts for
all the boys |
| Cost
of housing for weekend tournaments. |
| End of the season
awards, trophies, plaques for wrestlers. |
| Half of the cost of
letter jackets for varsity letter winners. |
| Supplies
(food & drink) for tournaments. |
| Miscellaneous items
at the request of the coaches ie. CD Player for the wrestling
room. |

The
wrestling team is in need of a new wrestling room mat, and the
booster club will be paying for a portion of the cost. |
The
club meets on the first Tuesday of every month, currently. Membership to the NWL Wrestling Booster Club is open to
parents/guardians of students involved in the Junior and Senior High
Wrestling program and any interested individual living in the school
district with a vested interest in the program.
We
welcome and encourage anyone interested to join
us at our next monthly meeting.
